Compose for body paragraphs for the first two arguments for your essay. You should have at least 4-6 paragraphs. After you finish writing, check you paragraphs against the ones we looked at in class. Do you have a topic sentence? Do you provide context for your evidence? Do you introduce direct quotes? Do you analyze your evidence, or do you just paraphrase and restate the quotes? Does your last sentence complete the thought stated in your topic sentence? You should also be able to show me a working thesis that has been broken into its different parts/arguments.
