1 - Read Zinn 524 - 539
Take notes. Notes will be graded on a 4 pt scale. Notes should show evidence of use of nonfiction text note-taking strategies:
- chunked summaries with titles
- important people
- important events
- important businesses, agencies, organizations and institutions
- numerical/statistical data
- connections to EQ (The New Left - Why Then), connections to other texts/films, show how the movements connect to each other
2 - Read Gosse 124 -127, prepare a primary source analysis for each document
3 - For each group - Develop a tentative claim that helps to answer the Why Then? question.
